The Northern Universities Insurance Group (NUIG) has been in existence since the 1980’s when originally being an informal discussion group of 6 Universities that has developed over the decades to now representing 40 Universities from the Midlands through to Wales and Scotland.
The Northern Universities Insurance Group (NUIG) exists to help and support Insurance Officers in member institutions and to pool knowledge and initiatives to promote and develop knowledge of this area with the HE sector. It is a networking forum that facilities and promotes good working practice in respect of Risk Management and Insurance arrangements. As an Insurance Manager and Member of NUIG, you are never alone in facing the latest issues and demands when able to network with your peers within the Group.
Risk Management & Insurance Training is provided for members on specialist topics, including current issues, from expertise within the Group and the Insurance, Legal, Risk Management and other third party support sectors.
